Dining Area

Blaran is able to accomodate six comfortably (or more if a sofa bed in the sitting room and baby cot are used). It is carpeted throughout and has central heating with night store heaters in every room. There is also an open peat burning fire in the sitting room.

The ground floor comprises:

Sitting/Dining Room:
Dining area recently furnished with a stunning dining room table which is made with Australian Jarrawood sleepers from a dis-used railway in South Africa . There is also an open fireplace, colour TV, video, sofa bed and comfortable armchairs. Paintings by local artists and the owners mother. Fabulous views on three sides. Patio doors open onto a paved area for eating outside overlooking the trout stream in the valley below.

Kitchen:
The kitchen has recently been re-designed by a talented local architect. The traditional tongue and groove style has been maintained but it has been fully re-furbished with an excellent electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, automatic washing machine and tumble drier. The kitchen overlooks the garden.

Master Bedroom:
with Double bed and en suite bathroom (incorporating a bath and shower).

The first floor comprises:

Two Twin Bedrooms:
Each with wash basin, dressing table and cupboard space.

Bathroom:
With bath and toilet.

Additional Facilities:

Children:
There is a high chair and a cot.

Dogs:
Well behaved dogs welcome by prior arrangement.

Parking:
Ample space for several cars beside the house.

Telephone:
There is a telephone in the kitchen.

Linen and Towels:
Not normally provided (but can be hired if necessary). Duvets, blankets and pillows are provided.

Cleaning:
The house will be checked between lets, but we ask people to leave it as they would like to find it.
